Happy Tuesday, UTD!
As pilot season wraps up networks are issuing renewals and cancelations to the current slate of shows. Deadline published a series on three of the networks with shows still in limbo:
As we move into Spring look for production to ramp up on TV series and Films alike. Regional theatre is back full tilt to its Spring audition cycle with in-person auditions back as the standard for EPAs and ECCs. On the Film TV side, controversy bubbled to the surface a few weeks ago in regards to self-taping still being the standard audition process and casting directors are still weighing in (see below). Regardless of what happens in the long run, self-taping is not going anywhere. Make sure you're set up with the best equipment and tips for at home self-taping.
With production and auditions back in large numbers, now is the perfect time to make sure your cover letters are in the best shape possible! Cover letters are essential for self-submitting for projects and introducing yourself to casting directors. Annie and I hope you will join us next week for our free workshop on crafting cover letters and follow-up notes!

Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible. If you experience any errors or technical glitches, please don't hesitate to reach out via email, info@uptodateactor.com.
Create a great week! ✌ï¸
