About
Season 2 of the series is based on Jo Murray’s upcoming novel, “Dissection of a Murder,” which will be published in 2026. Season 1 of “Presumed Innocent” was based on Scott Turow’s 1987 book, which was then adapted into the 1990 movie with Harrison Ford. Apple TV+ has yet to spill any plot details about Season 2, but the official synopsis of “Dissection of a Murder” reads: “When Leila Reynolds is handed her first murder case, she’s shocked at how high-profile it is: the murder of a well-respected, well-known judge. This shouldn’t be the kind of case she’s leading; it’s way beyond her expertise. But the defendant, Jack Millman, is clear. He wants her, and only her. To make things worse, he’s refusing to talk. How is she supposed to prove herself on what appears to be an unwinnable case?”
