About

Based on true events, Here There Are Blueberries follows the discovery of a mysterious album of Nazi-era photographs delivered to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2007. As archivists and historians investigate the images, they uncover an intimate look at the lives of Nazi officers stationed at Auschwitz and spark an international reckoning with the people behind the atrocities. The play explores memory, responsibility, complicity and what photographs of the past can reveal about our own humanity.
