Happy New Year, UTD!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends! While 2023 was a good year, I am extremely happy to welcome this New Year. I hope to set some better habits (waking up earlier) and in general, have more patience and kindness. I want to work on being more present in each moment and get rid of old knee-jerk reactions. What are you working on this New Year?

As the wheel of the year turns, we have the perfect time to take a moment and review our 2023 artist career. What goals were accomplished and what goals are still to be achieved?

At the same time that we review 2023, this moment also brings us to the transition of looking ahead to the New Year. I encourage you to see this illuminating exercise as an insight into your career and personal development. You will notice patterns that have empowered your artistry and patterns that have held you back from thriving as a performer. Everything that you discover is golden information. No criticism, Please! Just nurture your inner creative child and playfully imagine where you want to go and who you want to be.

2023 Year End Review Exercise

  • Make a list of successes you created both professionally and personally for each month in 2023
  • Make a list of the goals that are still to be achieved.
  • Decide what to bring with you from your accomplishments list into 2023.

  • What resources and new skills did you acquire in 2023 that enriched your goals and life?

  • Make 3 personal goals for 2024
