Description: One Stupid Thing’ commences with a seemingly ordinary summer on Nantucket Island where three high school friends are passing time casually in a rooftop. However, the setting is quickly changed when a supposed innocent game takes a sinister turn, and the course of their lives is changed forever. The events of that night remains a secret until the following summer when the three friends meet a mysterious girl with her own dark past who may have the answers they are looking for. The film then follows how friendship, mistakes, and the quest for redemption gets intertwined as the four characters get acquainted. ‘One Stupid Thing’ follows Jamie, Sophia, Trevor and Violet as they learn to accept the consequences of their choices all the while passing through the drama in their individual lives in their attempt to try to uncover what really happened in the previous year.
