Description: Ronnie, a 17-year-old competitive cheerleader, literally holds her team on her shoulders as the central backspot. When hormones, the increasing pressure from a cheerleading coach’s antiquated ideas about what it means to be a queer woman in the spotlight and town rivalries turn serious, anxiety attacks strike, throwing her place in life and in the competition culture into a tailspin.
